Multi-Flex thermoplastic elastomers

 

Highly filled Multibatches are used in many different processes and bring different benefit to the packaging manufacturer:


  1. Blown film: they are mainly used as anti blocking masterbatches. Here are the main products and key properties.

  2. BOPP film: they are mainly used in BOPP film in order to reduce the film SG and offer a very good compromise SG, opacity and Gloss. Most common dilution ratio is between 8-12% in core layer .1

  3. Sheet extrusion for thermoforming: In this business, MgOH silicates are necessary to reduce the cooling time, thus throughput, give a better thickness distribution while thermoforming and better heat resistance allowing their use in microwave oven.

  4. Corrugated sheet: The same grades are used as in Sheet extrusion for thermoforming.

  5. Melt coating: Those masterbatches and compounds lead to very good peel properties in aluminium coating

  6. Injection moulding: The mineral filled masterbatches are mainly used to reduce shrinkage, distortion, cycle time and improve stiffness and thermal properties of moulded polyolefin parts. We have some products dedicated to this process.
