Introduction Nylex is a product of proprietary alloying technology that makes the inherently
incompatible Polyamide and Polypropylene bends truly compatible.?
Unlike pure base resins, Multibase alloying technology creates
a PA/PP compound whose properties mimic most pure Polyamide at a reduced
cost. Nylex exhibits excellent impact resistance, resistance to moisture, embrittlement, cracking, and is easy to process.? Nylex can withstand both temperature and moisture extremes, while maintaining good dimensional stability. ?Nylex tensile strengths are higher than that of Polypropylene and close to Polyamides. |

Easy Processing, Coloring & Design Flexibility Easy processing makes Nylex suitable for making large complex parts. Design flexibility because of better flow results in the need for fewer gates and weld lines, thus reducing potential failure points. ?Failure of parts from low temperature embrittlement and cracking is eliminated in many applications. Water absorption (24 hrs at 100ˇăC) of Nylex is approximately 0.65% compared to 4-6% for Nylon 6 and Nylon 6/6. ?These attributes add to better reliability and longer part life performance at a reduced cost. Easy
colorability adds another dimension to design flexibility. |
